This round-table aims to introduce to a wide audience ethnographic research regarding protestant evangelical presence intoday’s Istanbul.

Beyond the categories of ‘Eastern Christianity’ and ‘Western Missions’, we wish to emphasize on the diversity of evangelical protestants, their concrete religious practices and social inclusion in the city, whether local citizens or international immigrants
